The 1st hot air baloon in the worldThe first hot air balloon was launched in 1784. It was equipped with an automatic burner injecting a flame into the envelope, and heating the air within. This event occurred only 9 months after the Montgolfier brothers launched their first hot air balloon flight using straw for fuel!
