The 1st hockey match in UkraineOwing to the efforts of the Lviv Skating Association, the first hockey training sessions were held in Lviv in 1908. And, the first hockey game in Ukrainian history was played in Lviv according to international rules at the beginning of 1905. This date marks the glorious era of Lviv hockey, whose players defended the colors of different hockey teams. This period also sees the beginning of Ukrainian hockey at the national level, represented by the association, “Ukraina”.
