Lviv is a major tourist center with many cultural and historical monuments, and old streets running in all directions from the center of the city. This map will be both helpful and useful for newly-arrived tourists to get around the city.

Our project is aimed at assisting tourists and guests to get around the city, informing them about various means of transport, helping them to locate tourist sites, coordinate their transportation within the city itself, and plan further excursions and itineraries.

The map of Lviv is composed of 5 unique maps. The map of Europe shows Ukraine and direct airline connections from major European cities to Lviv.  The regional map shows the main automobile roads and highways, as well as the location of castles and other famous architectural constructions and sites in the region. The third map shows the ring road that runs around the city, and indicates the main hotels, gas-filling stations, railway stations, and parking areas. The last two maps show the street plan of the city and the center of Lviv, and indicate the main architectural constructions, parking areas for coaches and cars, gas-filling stations, markets, public lavatories, free Internet zones, and many other venues. This map is bilingual (English – Ukrainian). In addition, there is a list of major museums, theaters, concert halls, historical and cultural monuments, churches and places of worship, parks, entertainment, and an events calendar for the year.
